Pilsa Time Terms of Service
Chapter 1 — General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Flago (the “Company”) and users in connection with the use of the mobile application “Pilsa Time” (Korean: 필사의 시간) (the “Service”).
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Service” means the Bible handwriting/meditation application “Pilsa Time” provided by the Company and related features.
- “Member” means a person who agrees to these Terms and completes registration via an Apple account.
- “Paid Service” means subscription or other paid offerings billed through the Apple App Store.
- “Content” means Bible text, recommended passages, UI, images, text, learning materials, and all other materials provided in the Service.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment)
- The Company posts these Terms in the Service or on its website so users can review them.
- The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by law. When amending, the Company will announce the effective date and reasons at least 7 days in advance (30 days for changes unfavorable to users).
- Continued use of the Service after an amendment takes effect constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
Article 4 (Matters Not Covered)
Matters not specified in these Terms are governed by applicable laws and the Company’s separate operating policies.
Chapter 2 — Service Agreement
Article 5 (Registration)
- Users apply for membership through Apple Sign In according to the Company’s procedures.
- The Company may refuse or later terminate registration in any of the following cases:
- Use of another person’s name or Apple account
- Submission of false information or failure to provide required information
- Attempted re-registration with the same identifier as an existing Member
- Prior restriction for violation of law or these Terms
Article 6 (Withdrawal and Loss of Membership)
- Members may request withdrawal at any time via the in-app Settings withdrawal feature. The Company will process the request without delay as required by law.
- After withdrawal, handwriting records, favorites, notebooks, and other usage data are destroyed or segregated in accordance with applicable law and the Pilsa Time Privacy Policy.
- Withdrawing from the Service does not cancel an App Store subscription. Members must cancel subscriptions separately in their Apple ID settings.
- If a Member violates these Terms or applicable law, the Company may restrict or revoke membership after prior notice.
Chapter 3 — Provision and Use of the Service
Article 7 (Provision and Changes)
- The Company provides, among others:
- Bible reading and handwriting (including digital handwriting)
- Recommended passages, favorites, notebooks, emotion/reflection notes, progress and statistics
- Customer support and related features
- The Company may change all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons and will give prior notice when practicable (or notice afterward in urgent cases).
Article 8 (Suspension)
The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, replacement, failure of information and communications facilities, or network outages, and will notify users before or after such suspension.
Article 9 (Paid Services and Payments)
- The Company may offer subscription Paid Services. Payments are processed via Apple App Store StoreKit In-App Purchase.
- Unless canceled by the user, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged to the payment method registered with the App Store.
- Subscription management and cancellation are handled in the user’s Apple ID settings (App Store > Account > Subscriptions). After cancellation, charges stop from the next billing period.
- Payments, refunds, and withdrawal of offers follow Apple’s policies and applicable law (including Korea’s Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce). Specific refund procedures are handled through Apple Support.
- The Company does not directly collect or store payment instrument details (such as card numbers).
Article 10 (Member Obligations)
- Members shall comply with applicable laws, these Terms, usage guides, and notices related to the Service.
- Members shall not transfer, lend, or misuse account credentials.
- Members understand that handwriting and reflection records may be synced or backed up to devices/servers and shall take care to protect account security.
- Members shall not:
- Copy, distribute, sell, or publicly transmit the Service or Content without authorization
- Interfere with normal operation of the Service
- Infringe others’ rights or violate the law
Article 11 (Company Obligations)
The Company shall not engage in acts prohibited by law or these Terms and shall endeavor to provide the Service continuously and stably.
Chapter 4 — Miscellaneous
Article 12 (Copyright and Intellectual Property)
- Copyright and intellectual property in Content created by the Company (UI, images, text, recommendation structures, etc.) belong to the Company.
- Copyright and related rights in Bible text/translations included in the Service belong to the respective rights holders (publishers, copyright owners, etc.). Members may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, or broadcast such text beyond personal, non-commercial use, or allow third parties to do so.
- Rights in user-generated content (handwriting records, notes, notebook layouts, etc.) generally belong to the Member. The Company may store and process such content to the extent necessary to provide, improve, and back up the Service.
- Members shall not commercially use information obtained through the Service without the Company’s prior consent, or allow third parties to do so.
Article 13 (Privacy)
The Company protects Members’ personal information as required by law. Details are set out in the separate Pilsa Time Privacy Policy.
Article 14 (Disclaimer)
- The Company is not liable when it cannot provide the Service due to natural disasters or other force majeure.
- The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by a Member’s fault.
- Unless otherwise required by law, the Company is not liable for damages related to free portions of the Service.
- Availability of some Content may be limited due to translation/presentation issues or changes in external rights-holder policies. Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for resulting damages.
Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Lawsuits between the Company and a Member shall be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
Article 16 (Use by Children)
The Service may be used by children under 14. Processing of personal information of children under 14 requires consent of a legal guardian under Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act; details are in the Privacy Policy.
Addendum
These Terms take effect on September 7, 2026.
